Violet Coto is a contracting Marketing and PR professional and entrepreneur. She specializes in organizational communications, development, marketing, and events for small business, startups and nonprofits in the technology, environmental, wildlife, and food industries, serving clients throughout Southern and Central California. While actively involved in the community, she manages all events for MIT Enterprise Forum, Central Coast Chapter. When not working on marketing or events, Violet spends her weekends running a small gift shop up in the Santa Barbara mountains, at the local historic Cold Spring Tavern, off the ole’ Stagecoach Road, selling an array of antiques, and handmade crafts made by local artisans, including her own. She received her bachelor’s degrees in Comparative Literature and in Spanish Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her master’s degree in Organizational Development and Management with an emphasis on critical thinking and human behavior, including public relations and marketing from San Francisco State University and then Fielding Graduate University.
