BYRON LOW, Coach, i-woven

I am a technical guy with the ability to connect with others. Besides the companies that I started in high school and college (since then I have started 20+ companies), I started my career working as an Aerospace Engineer. Even as a young and inexperienced Mechanical Component Design Engineer I had a knack for being able to work well with others while still being process-oriented in solving problems. I was tasked right away from my bosses, bosses, boss to be the main liaison between 2 Engineering Groups that did not get along. So, that’s what I mean by being a technically oriented person with the innate ability to connect with others.

Even though I am technical and I love working with smart people; I do not need to be the smartest person in the room. I want to be the most engaged and interested person in the room who asks great questions and who loves to listen to others.

I have an eye for constant professional improvement and I know how to inspire others to want to do “more” and be “more” in their life and career, outside of their comfort zone.

My entire career has been dedicated to improving the lives of others. My best work is with folks who are earnest in their desire to improve despite difficult setbacks or lost traction in their lives and careers; they are determined to get to the next level and are ready for their next challenge; they are disciplined to stay the course because they want what is best for them and they know that personal and professional growth is going to be uncomfortable. They have the required focus, courage, energy and are willing to commit to the time it takes to move forward in their lives and careers.

If the folks that I’m working with have these above qualities then my coaching system is thorough and it provides the structure for wonderful things to happen.

I’m a member of the Consortium for Change (C4C is a network of select coaches, consultants, leadership development experts, and transformation advisors.), NTS Coaching Network (NTS focuses on leadership development, talent and career management, organization effectiveness, change management consulting services and executive coaching.), CEO of I-Woven – a talent optimization and consulting firm focusing on Leadership Development and Coaching; as well as my coaching website:

Blessed with 25+ years of coaching some of the best and brightest at companies like Coca-Cola, Honeywell, Ultimate Software, Motorola, Intel, Marriott, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Bank of America, PacifiCare Health Systems, RTC Transit, ADP, Raytheon, King Pharmaceuticals, Wells Fargo, and Convidien with professional coaching and leadership development services.

Along with coaching, I’ve given 100’s of presentations covering topics like leadership development, career development, high potential development, emotional intelligence, generational issues, executive development, identifying strengths, flow, personality and tendencies, team building, and self-awareness.

I’m certified in many assessment tools: MBTI, DiSC, ThinkX, Harrison, Hogan, Big 5, Character Index, Talentx7, Humantelligence, and Innermetrix.

But currently, the assessments I use now are the Predictive Index, the Enneagram, and the Clifton StrengthsFinder.
